About The Colorado Paddlers and this E-mail list

The Colorado Paddlers is an informal paddling group sponsored by Canoe Colorado. Most of our trips and other information can be found on our discussion board at www.coloradopaddlers.org/forum. We use this e-mail list to send out quick announcements, and as a way to keep in contact with one another. The trips offered on this list generally follow our General Rules and Guidelines. Naturally any rules are up to each individual trip leader, but we've found these work for most. Beginner Trips - Easier trips suited for new paddlers who have basic control of their boat Most of Our Trips - Our most common trips. As a general rule we move along faster than other clubs, and the rules reflect this speed difference. Whitewater Trips - Whitewater has it's own dangers and the guidelines help us stay safe. Many people subscribe to our list not only to join us on trips, but to learn about new places to paddle. We're also a great place to learn about tips and tricks of paddling in Colorado. Using the Colorado Paddlers E-mail List

To post a message to all the list members, send email to paddlers@canoecolorado.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.

Subscribe to Paddlers by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
